The Life Sculpture in Memorial Park of Jacksonville Florida, during the storm surge of hurricane Irma in 2017.

Work titled “Groove Lily”. Based off of a macro photograph of Agapanthus blooms in my yard, this work was my first marriage of photography and graphic design. The monochromatic image served as the foundation over which I digitally painted in Adobe Photoshop, using a pallet of colors that would have been popular in the 70s. The end result made me think of the music of those years and was the inspiration for the title.

As a Jacksonville-based award-winning photographer and creator, my lifelong passion for visual storytelling drives my work. I strive to create images that forge a visceral connection with viewers, evoking emotions that range from wonder to a deep longing to explore. Every photograph I capture is intended to resonate on a personal level, fostering a dialogue between the image and the observer.

I am first and foremost a Photographer. Planning, traveling to, and facing the challenges I find for every shoot, are a big part of what I love about the art. This foundation informs my artistic vision and allows me to also blend classic techniques with contemporary graphic design elements. As I have pursued a BAS in Digital Media, I have found inspiration in integrating my photographic edits with graphic components, creating versatile works that can be appreciated as prints or worn as apparel.

I am dedicated to pushing the boundaries of creativity, constantly seeking new ideas and inspirations. Whether capturing a fleeting moment in nature or exploring the vibrancy of urban life, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder and connection. My work invites viewers to share in the emotions and stories behind each image, encouraging them to feel something profound.

Ultimately, my goal is to create meaningful experiences that resonate long after the viewer has left the gallery. I believe that art has the power to evoke emotion and spark curiosity, and it is this belief that fuels my passion for photography and creative expression.
