Diplomacy Lab Project – U.S. Department of State partnership, Office of American Spaces, and Florida State College at Jacksonville
Team member for American Spaces: Glow up the Brand Identity of the State Department’s Cultural Centers Abroad – Make this Network Shine project.
Our team partnered with the Office of American Spaces in researching and providing redesign options for the marketing and branding systems and various graphics and social media materials. I led one of the five collaborative teams and presented research reports, a branding guides, a virtual background, and creative marketing posters to the Office of American Spaces. Along with assisting to create the presentation, I created and provided four unique marketing posters to the Office of American Spaces, which were selected to be made available to over 650 locations in 140 countries globally.
One of the asks for the project was to create posters promoting STEM. For this I chose to focus on robotics as many American Spaces have maker spaces offering robotics training.
Another ask for the project was to create a set of themed posters. For this and the following two posters, I chose to feature the theme of Women’s History and Empowerment.
